| What's the minimum spec required to run Visual Pinball? |

I'm not new to what's required to run MAME competently but I definitely am when it's come to Visual Pinball... What would be the minimum competent set-up for Visual Pinball...? When I mean competent, I mean no stuttering, sound problems, etc... ;) |

np...check out the HyperPin forums as well. There are at least a dozen active cab projects going on right now. Ask questions over there...you will get answers from people that have experience. |

It's strange... the PC I was going to use has a fairly decent spec (though is probably a little low on the RAM side) and that doesn't seem to want to run any of the tables - Visual Pinball complains about virtual memory! :-\ I guess what might be the best option is to swap that PC over with the one I'm using for the touchscreen monitor... SK Jukebox surely doesn't need much spec to run well... and that PC is probably just being put to waste being used for that... means transferring all the files across though which is a bit of a pain in the arse! |
