| Can you recommend a place to have a small CP type label printed? |

Hi, I have a product I am looking to have a label made for. Perhaps 2" to 2.5' inches tall by 8" long. It will also need to have five 3/8 holes punched into it. It needs to be peel and stick on so I can attach it to a plastic enclosure. Can anyone recommend a printer or company that could produce this type of thing? What type of material should I have it printed on? All ideas welcome, Thanks! Alan |

Is it for production or just for personal use? If it is the latter, could you just print from a home ink-jet printer onto a label? |

Hi, It is for a product I am producing, but I thought about doing them myself depending on how difficult it would be. Do they make glossy or textured sticky backed inkjet printable labels? Thanks, Alan |

Try your local next day signs or vinyl graphics sign shop. They can print on an assortment of materials, and cut the holes etc... Most vinyl require a smooth non porous surface to adhere to. However, they can also print on some plastics/lexans (extremely thin) for instrumentation panels, guage faces, etc... all with the ability to be back lit. Most sign shops have small format printers (some use a gerber edge thermal heat process, others inkjet with a laminate) and can cater to small runs/prototyping as easily as the larger volume orders. Don't blame me when you see all the different materials they have and come back with a gazillion new ideas. ;) |
