Quick electrical question
« on: December 05, 2009, 01:50:56 am »
I have a portable DVD player I'm using just for the screen for a mini arcade cab
A charger didn't come with it, it calls for a 12V 2A, but I have one from a hard drive laying around that is a 12V 3A
can I use it?
and if it will work, will it damage the battery, or anything else?

That would work fine, the dvd player will draw as many amps as it needs. Make sure to get the polarity correct.
