Plus PC monitors displaying classic arcade games = FAIL (for the most part).

True, but PC monitors are used in MAME cabs more than anything. Cost issue.

I have one of the 60 in 1's as well. It was super cheap to build, and is very durable. When friends have party's, they call up and ask to borrow the cab. I toss it in the back of the truck, and take it over. As long as they pay for the gas, and we get an invite of course..its all goood. Dont have to worry about pulling the hard drive while moving it around. Its in a cabaret, so its easy to move. I used PC speakers so volume control is easy to get to. I set Mrs Pac to have hearts instead of dots....dont know why but the girls love that. I just re-did the control panel, game list and the instructions. Its always a big hit.
These picts were taken with the shop camera. I will try and take some with my wifes camera this weekend.

I have the 39 in 1 jamma card in a cab and it is alright for me, I've had no issues.  The problem is that the top high score is the only one saved and it doesn't even remember the initials, so there is no satisfaction being at the top.  Does the 60-1 or 48-1 save multiple high scores and save initials of the owners of the scores?
