Jimmy Rosen and I (we both write for GameRoom Magazine) delivered a pinball machine to Gary from the Howard Stern show today.

Gary set it up in his beautiful home game room, and being a long (LONG) time Stern fan, it was a lot of fun to meet Gary and his family.

Here are some preview photos of the article that Jimmy's going to put together.

That's me in the last photo. The one above me is Jimmy.

fun day!
Seriously. Will it fit in my basement or what?

hahahaha I can't believe you've seen famous "chompers" up close and personal! I sure as hell will listen if he mentions that on the show! Did he show you his home theather, that Stern was ripping him a new one for?
What's the machine? looks kind of like an older pin.

Edit: Nevermind I noticed on the later pictures, It's Bally's Eight Ball

Looks like a fun time. I love these sorts of posts. I always like to see people getting their machines and setting them up in the house.

that was one of my first requests when we got there--- I have to say I like the look of the theater- but Howard's right, those bar chairs suck!

He used to play it at a pizzeria when he was a kid. It brings back good memories for him.

I'm confused by your comment. What is wrong with an older guy wanting a pin from his youth? Are you not a fan of older digital or electromechanical pinballs?

Oh for god's sake man dont read that much into it.  I asked that question because he could clearly afford any game he wanted so it seemed odd that he would choose an older game like that......other than maybe he has fond memories of playing the game in his youth.  And no I dont have a problem with older games, I own a cyclone and its a relatively older game, well its at least not DMD new.  People are freakin' touchy around here.

Most guys in that age range go for the older SS games. It's what they were brought up on. And that appears to be a very nice example that probably set him back as much as a decent DMD cost.

MameMaster!

Kind of sucks they went on vacation, he might forget to give you a "plug". It's funny how his teeth look like they resting on his lower lip in every picture. Other than that Gary seems like a great guy!
