In some respects, I decided not to go to in-depth on this site to avoid confusion. However, it seems I did exactly the opposite. Obviously, I worked harder to make things sound more technical / knowledgeable in the actual presentation (Although, even that was probably lost due to my poor speaking skills).

Of course, I am not trying to imply that I understand how everything is working in the unit. I will admit that I could have put more research in every component. Some of that was due to time constraints, and some of it was due to the fact that I was embarrassed to ask how some of it was working.

If there is anything in particular that you believe I should have stated better, please let me know so that I can be knowledgeable later on.

Well, I didnt take into account that you were fighting flames, so go ahead and take an A.
I do like the design, very neat.

Wow, thanks!   ;D

I can't take too much credit for the design. I took a lot from the aforementioned website. Using PVC for blades was a fantastic idea, and I couldn't have completed the project without that.

We also used the spare PVC for the body simply because we had to buy so much of it. I was skeptical of how this would look before we did it, but it ended up looking quite fancy.

You are to Flip_Willie.

We all are pefect stangers here if we consider "real world" contact to be the measure. But Flip_Willie himself wrote that he has read a lot of my postings here, so in the sense of this forum I was no random stranger for him, actually he initially said that was part of the reason why he took it so seriously.

I guess there may be some cultural differences into play here as well. On the other hand, this is a very friendly place compared to f.i. the KLOV forum. People get a lot more ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- than what I wrote here over there, and most users there are US based.

Anyway, I was trying to tease Flip a bit, he took it up a bit too heavy, we both realized this, everything done and said, let's move on with interesting stuff.

And (as I mentioned in about every reply here) it was a very cool project to do !
