There was no striking there. I appreciate that StephenH posted the link directly to the section dealing with my machine, but I found it right after you posted the link 1st time. I'm asking questions in hope someone can help with a specific problem rather than read through the whole thing that 90% does not apply to what's happening right now. It's like you would want me to learn how to repair entire car, while all I want is to change oil.
For example PinballWizard was right on the money with the coil and EOS, I replaced that and soemthing else happend, maybe someone has some idea or eperience with that situation and can point me directly to the problem without going through a lenghty process.

Dude...it's best to read up on everything about your machine, even if you only have what you think is a "single problem". Pins are very complicated and a single symptom can indicate a variety of issues. Understanding general repair is important, even if you feel you're only addressing something that's very specific.

Jim is smart about this stuff,  I'd go easy on lashing out when there are already so few that are active on this part of the forum to begin with.

Lashing out? C'mon "we" are not that sensitive here, right? That was hardly anywhere near lashing out. All I'm asking, for people to give me a little more help (if they can of course) than just pointing to links, that's what this board is about isn't it? Btw as to reading the whole thing, guess what... I DID IT! And I'm still at the same point I was before reading. Unfortunately I was unable to find info that would apply to my problem at the moment.

Right now here is what's happening (for those that recognize the problem and can help.)  Machine boots up fine. Passes self test (7 flashes) right flippers works fine, but the left one, does nothing and then blows up a fuse on the rectifier board at F4 (5 amps +43V) if I hold it little longer. That's after replacing flipper coil with a new one. I have checked and rechecked if connected everything right, and it seems everything is same way as on the old one. Btw old coil would energize the flipper in up position and then it would stay there, fuse would not blow up (but it was 7 amp, that blew after my new coil install) but it was buzzing and smoking.

Btw why is there so many burn marks everywhere? I look at pictures of other board under the playfield and see nothing like it. All the wires, Aux board, Solenoid driver have residue like something was burning. It's only in the part closer towards coin doors.

Even if it is on top you should be able to drill it out. If it is on the front attached to a metal plate (like apollo 13) then it has security bits on it that you could take out and the lock with come out.

I forgot to mention that I just jammed flat screw driver and forced it to one of the sides, just enough to get the back glass out.

AHHHHH!!!!!!!!  :banghead: Please tell me you didn't let the WHOLE lock spin in the wood??? I hate getting a game where someone took the whole lock and spun it to do that, damaging all the wood in its path. If it was a lock where the pins where removed (I'll do that on games until I get a bulk lock order together) and just turned what is supposed to then I guess that is okay.

mimic:
ooops that's precisely what I did, but I don't see any damage whatsoever, next time I won't take any chance though, now that I know.

Some pictures to maybe take a look and help solve the problem.

First picture: new coil is green, and the wiring is the same as in the last picture (old coil brown.) Supposedly coil is same as well?

Middle picture, opposite coil, why does it have 4 blades and not 2?
