Ikaruga CP Layout

Japanese only on Dreamcast. (But the menus are good in English)
All regions on GameCube but I heard it was rare. I also don't get why it was never released on PS2 instead, seems like the better platform to target.
The Xbox Live Arcade version however is sadly lacking an attract mode, but it supports all resolutions and left and right screen rotation. It'll even rotate for wide screen monitors and even put text above in the top and bottom letter boxes.
Like so:

Yeah the tate option on the DC version is fantastic. Ikaruga on a vertical 29" 4:3 31k monitor looks the dogs danglies. :afro:
When I rebuild one of my Naomi's I may leave the screen tate'd just for Ikaruga, Border Down and other tate games.
Its a shame the Naomi's don't have the monitor on a pivot like the Egrets etc, that really would be the ultimate cab for me. Saying that, vertical games rotated are not too shabby on a horiznotal 29" :)
What I want to know is how the compressed DC ISO only weighs in at 17MB or whatever stupidly small size it is.

Must have mixed up something here, Border Down is a horizontal game...
