MAMEWAH used to work with VisualPinbal, but hanging now
« on: October 12, 2009, 02:40:02 pm »
I've had MAMEWAH setup and running well for over 3 years. I've had it running MAME, Visual Pinball, Future Pinball, Atari, Nintendo, and Sega, with no problems.  I hadn't run Visual Pinball in months and when I went to plan a table, it had expired. So I renamed my old folder and ran VP Installer, then VPINMAME, then copied all of my tables / ROMS / snaps to the new folder. I can get it to run directly from VP, but when I try to run it from MAMEWAH now, it hangs on the "Winners Don't Use Drugs"  screen.
It still recognizes all of the tables and snaps from the new folder, and PINMAME is pointed to the correct path (like I said, VP directly works).

Any ideas?

Also, does anyone know of a patch or something to kep it from expiring?  I like my current setup, but hate upgrading every few months and encountering these kinds of issue.

Thanks!   MPTech
