Im using this here, im using the rca end for the tv. Im thinking at this point that the video card just isnt helping me enough and might just upgrade it, i have an extra nvidia 9600 gs so maybe ill just buy some cheap parts and fill in the gaps. I believe it has decent tv out options on it.

MonMotha:

That adapter is designed for certain laptops that support output of TV on their HD15 connector only.  It won't work with a normal desktop card or even most laptops.

cipriani2k:

is there a cable you guys would recommend for general desktop use or does that not really exist?

Forces21:

Hate to tell you but unless you have an rca output or svideo output you're well out of luck with your video card. The only solution would be to use a VGA to RCA convertor, but I don't think these are cheap cheap!

Shame you're not in europe otherwise you could make a VGA to SCART adapter, but you'd still need to have something like soft15khz running...

Maybe cheapest solution would be to get a cheap graphics card with TV/OUT. Then you could connect this to the TV?
I assume this is a desktop and not a laptop you are trying to use?

Just throwing some ideas at you though so use what you need.

Cheers
