Your switch is out of adjustment and the leafs are touching. You'll just need to lift your playfield and bend back the bottom leaf a touch. You do want them to where they're very close to touching, so don't adjust it far.

Or he's got a bad pop bumper driver board... etc etc

Game title always helps on threads like this...

Yeah, I just went with the widest one.  Game title is key for a specific diagnosis.

---steaming pile of meadow muffin---, I cant believe I didnt say it before: Tales from the crypt.

Its not the leaf switch, I can pry back on that puppy & look through it...I even looked to see if something was arcing across the switch.

I think it is board related, or some part on the board I mean... or something other than the obvious broken wire, short & etc.

Damn I hate pinball

Been a while since I read the DE manual, but I thought the rev. 3 board had extra hardware on the board to stop pop bumper coils from locking up?

Anyways, crack out your DMM and ohm the coil. Then look at the driver transistor on the board. Even if it wasn't bad before, it's probably fried now.

It's one of the driver transistors on your MPU board. DE & WMS Sys 11 combine the MPU and driver board circuits onto one board.
