The key probably IS inside, but hey, that's how it goes.  It's a $2 lock.  Drill it and save yourself the headache.

lets see,..i just seen this cool vid with drilling out an arcade lock,..and some vids on bump keys and bobby pin picking,..
ill go with the picking first,...then if it fails,..ill lube up my drill bit and dig for gold! :lol

How does someone shop a machine like that one and not have the keys?

got the keys,...thank god!...i found the manual and schematics and some 25 cent decals inside as well,..machine is in nice shape,..needs some touch ups here and there,.looking for the right paint and protectant for the playfield,...
