Yup.  The first thread was the only one that seemed to talk about the wheel in any detail and the latter thread, the author didn't review the wheel.

My main interest is people that have used it for awhile on an actual cabinet (unlike the first review, which while nice isn't on an actual cabinet).

Works great for driving games with the optional wheel or without. So if you dont have money to spend on a driving panel with full size wheels then this is the best option. WORKS Great IMO

OOC, which driving games have you used it with?

mytymaus007:

A spinner is like a 360 degree driving wheel, the other type is a 270 degree steering wheel which is like the new driving games you see today. But the spinner barely works with them if at all. pole position, super sprint and ivan stewart off road racing are games Ive used with the spinner with and they work great. Here is a list of driving games and the right controls youll need for them. Oh yeh you might come across a 900 degrees steering wheel but is basically compared to a 270 degree wheel which are know as Analog wheels and 360 wheels are optical wheels

I find it great, if a bit pricey. Go for the 7" wheel if you can sretch to it as it raises comfortably off the surface of your control panel, for a better grip.

I have the 7" and I love it.  I don't play a lot of driving games (which is why I went this route).  The only "complaint" I have received is that it doesn't feel quite right because it is not on an angle (like a normal wheel would be).  Instead it is flat.  However the game play and weight is great... hope this helps
