Would it be possible?
wooowman93:
I already have a cp with the holes made but i want to put artwork over it with Plexiglass are there any recommenced ways of doing this
Beretta:
depends do you want just a picture or do you need the overlay to match up with the buttons?
both are possible but one is easier then the other.
wooowman93:
well i want to put some art on it doesn't really have to match
Beretta:
should'nt really be any different then before you drilled the cp then.
what material are you gonna make it out of? the buttons bezel and joystick dust covers are pretty forgiving so i would think in most cases you could get buy with just a sharp utility knife.
for the plexy i would clamp it to the CP and just line up your drill bit using the CP as the guide.

shouldnt be too hard, unless you are laying out graphics that are really sensitive to location..for instance arrows or something around your joystick holes...if they arent in exactly the right spot, it could look stupid.
as long as that isnt an issue, it should be easy. you can use a razor blade to cut the artwork around the holes, just take your time. as for the plexi, clamp it to the wood and use a flush trim router bit to cut the holes, it works great.
