 :dunno

I don't ever nudge or bump pinball tables anyway.

It may keep me from ever reaching greatness, but it is just something I never utilize.

DJ_Izumi:
So, pinball, with true arcade feel... With an upright video game cab and no ability to nudge?  That's hardly 'arcade' in reguards to 'pinball'. :P

I don't nudge real tables either. :P

It is still far more arcade than sitting on my sofa with a regular gamepad in my hand though. My kids and I all around the cab taking our turns is far more satisfying.

Whatever though. Williams is unplayable that way, and I was just voicing that it would be great if it was. I have too many other games that occupy my sofa time. ;D

I scrolled to the TOP of the Taxi leader boards and found an interesting jump between third and second place.

#3 is 34 million points.
#2 is 48 million points.
#1 is 1.99 billion points.  Billion, with a B.

I don't know if you consider this cheating, but once you complete the Wizard level table goals, you unlock the option to turn off Tilt.  These scores still count on the leaderboards.  On the developer's Facebook page, they said they considered not letting these scores count, but figured that it takes a lot of skill to unlock the option and the player should be rewarded by letting their scores count.  I wish they had separate leaderboards myself.

As for the game itself, I love it.  I'm disappointed I didn't realize how cool pinball machines were back in the day and just ignored them most of the time.  I did play them now and again, but not enough to know about lane changing, how to obtain the multipliers and multi-balls, etc.  I thought it was just random reaction timing with pinball.  A major missed opportunity on my part.

I hope there a lot more releases like this, I'll be snagging them up.

Hopefully there are downloads in the future.... maybe AFM, IJ, WW or a few more oldies.

I doubt it tho because the game has a few glitches that makes me think they decided to just release it & let it be. The sound has some cracks or scratches inbetween bytes, the "tips" only flash for 0.75 seconds during a load, you cant page up or go to the top of the leaderboards & blah blah blah.

Its still cool though.
