What kind of Appliance Truck (Dolly) is best for arcade cabs ?

I've got to move 3 cabs from my storage space back home and I'm most likely going to do this by myself. I've alway just used an old appliance dolly, but the strap is broke and the thing is OLD !

I was wondering if I should get another one like I had with the small wheels and the tightening strap , one with the "stair climbers" ( ?) , or has anyone tried a regular hand truck with the big wheels, and just a hand ratchet strap ? The bigger wheels seem like a plus to me. Any suggestions / tips ? Thanks

Me...I always used what ever i could find....those cabs should be at least lighter or about the same weight as a fridge...I myself, dont know your phyiscal condition, but you shouldnt have a problem, just make sure you lean back....also bring towels to prevent stratching ...Are you going up any stairs? then you might have problem...you could ask a nieghbor to help and then offer a cold beer...

One with solid wheels.  Don't use inflated tires.  They bounce and are dangerous with cabs.

How bad is the one you have?  Old means nothing to a metal tool if it's in safe usable condition.

So far all I've used is a regular hand truck with inflatable tires, and that's worked perfectly fine for me. However, one of these days I will upgrade to a nicer one - probably when we move to our next house.

EDIT: I don't even use tie down straps. But then again my wife is always on hand if I need a little assistance.

Use your old dolly, but get some of those tie down straps.  That's what I use with my dolly.
