Cyclone pop bumper

(1/2) > >>

Flake:
I have a Cyclone with the repo Comet ramp - which apparently is much thicker than the standard issue ramp the game originally came with.  Due to the ramp's size it causes the lower pop bumper to push down to one side.  The bumper still works but for aesthetic purposes I would like to purchase a new pop bumper cap that has a side shaved off......apparently they sell these somewhere but I cant seem to find them at Pinball Life/Marco/Action Pinball.

Anyone ever heard of these types of pop bumper caps and if so do you know where to find them?

Flake:
Does the fact that I dont have one count?

Flake:
Are you serious?

Jeff AMN:
I have seen them, but not sure where to get them at either. I'm not sure exactly how your ramps are fastened, but maybe a few washers under the screws might raise it up just enough to make it clear the bumper cap without noticeably affecting how the ball travels along them.

And Jim, not everybody is THAT cheap when it comes to the hobby.

pinballwizard79:
If you do go the DIY approach I can bring my cordless dremel to Chucks if you want, you can borrow it for a month or so or we can cut it there...no worries.

Maybe a hack saw blade would be good too...dunno that may rough it up a lot so I bet a brand new razor in a razorknife will be good.

I did that on my tomcat due to having the wrong gate installed.
