80s movies - stand up or not?

Just watched Teen Wolf and Teen Wolf Too over the weekend. Gotta say these don't stand up worth a damn.
Saw Better Off Dead recently and that, while a better movie, didn't stand up too well unless you had nostalgia for it.

Nice!

Depends on the movies:
80s movies that hold up
Wrath of Khan -> Definitely stands up and still the best Trek movie imo
Aliens -> Sigourney Weaver is the best action chick of all time...best of the Alien movies
Conan the Barbarian -> One of the best fantasy movies of all time
Fast Time at Ridgemont High -> Still a classic comedy
Blade Runner -> One of Grandpappy Harrison's best
Princess Bride -> Still one of the wittiest pieces of written dialogue ever
Stand by Me -> great coming of age film
Risky Business
E.T
Top Gun
Popeye (underrated classic imo that is better now than then)
War Games (Would you like to play a game of Chess?)...go go 300 baud modems!
Bill and Ted's EA
Terribad
Dirty Dancing -> Gouge my eyes out please
6 Pack -> Stick to singing Kenny
Gremlins
Ghostbusters
Flashdance
Karate Kid
Footloose
Dung Heap of time
Desperately Seeking Susan
Doctor Detroit
I could go on and on but that is just a small sampling...

No doubt. I put both in my 'still good' category. Karate Kid also holds up extremely well. Footloose is a guilty pleasure, so I'll leave it in terribad. ;D
I think you might be thinking about the Gremlins and Ghostbusters sequels....really bad in both cases.
