This is a decent MAME PC for the price http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=D220MT-P424-RCD-2R&cat=SYS |

Looks like a decent system, though I'd be a bit concerned about the power supply @ 200 Watts, especially if someone starts plugging in a 3rd party video card, USB hubs, LED controllerts, additional hard drives, etc. Should be good for onboard video usage though. I guess I'm spoiled -- I get lots of 'boneyard' stuff from my job as they swap out workstations for newer models. |
| Ginsu Victim:
Not everyone goes overboard on their MAME setups, so I was letting people know about this one. |

I don't know too much about older graphics cards(Or integrated graphics), how well can this run 3d games/emulators(Such as n64 and the like). I'll probably end up building a PC for my mame setup. |
| Ginsu Victim:
You should pretty much always choose a video card over integrated graphics if you're planning on using 3D. Some onboard video is fine, but most pale in comparison to a dedicated card. |
