I actually saw your build thread this morning and was thinking how close our hardware was as well as the overall cabinet.  At first I was going to design it similar to what you are building but I wanted it to take the smallest footprint I could as I don't have much room.  I may be regretting the cylinder soon because trimming the laminate and cutting the top plexi is going to be pretty tough.

I think I may have looked for xlobby back when I first got interested in building a jukebox because I think that is the frontend that Mountain is using I think.  The only thing I was able to find is that it looks like it went commercial?  If you have a link for the frontend I will check it out along with the Orion's skin, it looks pretty sweet.

Thanks, actually if you just download the file that Orion has in that thread it comes with the latest free version of xlobby in the .zip file. I found it myself with google but it took a while.

Good luck with the curves, I wouldn't regret them at all, they look pretty stylin'

Yes I have included all the software as well as instructions. Everything you need is there.

You know, what would look +really+ great on a project like this? Wrap the whole thing in black plex, including the top.

If there was way to integrate the touchscreen in a bigger glass pane that spanned the entire top, that'd be awesome. It'd look kind of like the obelisk from 2001.

till, you turn it on anyway  :)

Either way, very nice. Curves are tough.
