initial demo video for drventure re: a video opener for his "Mame machine in an antique buffet" - inspired by Lions Gate studio opener (work in progress)

I wanted to do this same thing.  My first theme for my cocktail was a kind of Bioshock/Steampunk/rusty-looking thing.  I loved the Lionsgate intro, but the "Lionsgate" text always came in too early to edit it out and have something reasonable left.  Then, well, I sucked too much to recreate something decent so I ditched it. ::)

Is that you in your sig?  It reminds my of Jonesy in Dreamcatcher when Mr. Gray is making him half-nuts on the snowmobile. ;D

Good lookin' Stuff!

My Astro cab's name badge (it's official)  ;D

Great work as usual Ond. Just a thought - have you tried joining the tail of the 'o' onto the arc in some way? I think it would help the whole thing look like one piece of 'chrome'. Either way, looking great - and so much better without the '2010'. Now stop doodling and finish that awful cab of yours ;D

Woowa! very nice work. Now I know some of that can't be done in photoshop - what is your companion 3D modeling program.
Impressive to have so many talents  :applaud:
My art is always free for you to download and modify as you see fit...
Why?... because I could never find any art I loved on the net. So I played around with Photoshop and wish to share it with the arcade community.

What's the story behind the Pro Pinball one? I see some PS1 video pinball games there...
Completed projects: Pac bartop (Plug & Play), 30th Anniversary Pac cab (MAME), Point Blank (PS1), Centipede (arcade hardware- light restore), VS. Super Mario Bros (arcade hardware- light restore) Tetris Cocktail (SNES), Arcade Classics upright (60-in-1, then MAME), Multi-Raiden (arcade hardware). Pac Man vs.(Gamecube),

Working on: Pinball Re-theme, Homebrew arcade arena shooter

Yeah, that was art I did for a guy's dedicated Pro-Pinball cab.  The Pro-Pinball series of which there were four titles were way ahead of their time.  They were originally PC games later ported over to other platforms.
Timeshock! in particular was / is a great pinball game.  Three of the four titles could be pushed to 1600 x 1200 resolution and the physics still to this day in all titles is superb.   Here is the original project thread

http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=92252.0

Cool, thanks, I missed that build!

my first mame build is complete except for artwork. all of yours is awesome. how about a conversion of rocket ranger?
my machine has a red theme and i am a superman collector. i was thinking the name should be RED KRYPTONITE and the juipter could be a exploding krypton planet and the rocket would be baby superman's rocket leaving the planet,  with the red theme. need control panel art also but really don't have ideas for that. i have also added red led rope light behind the two speaker grids giving it a nice red glow.
