The first two pictures look like a stand-up cabinet to me, but the last picture looks like a much shorter one... ???
Other than that, it looks like good progress so far.
edit: maybe it's just so large that it appears to me as being shorter when viewed from the front?

looks like you will either have to be small or sit down to me.
or else you could play with your arms at full length.

It's definitely Candyesque. It reminds me of the Astro City 2.
What controls are you going for? Hopefully something Jap to go with the cab.
