blownsvtlightning's Donkey Kong Restoration

<< < (2/3) > >>

blownsvtlightning:
awesome, thanks for the heads up, I will look into this..

blownsvtlightning:
bondo dries too darn quick...  hard to get it uniform  gonna take some time..  I am not posting pics of my work, might post of the before and after of the final product, seems a donkey kong restor, it nothing to write home about, it's been done a million times...

But we love pictures!  Even though many have done DK restores, each one has its unique details.  Post pics as you go along (otherwise, why start a restoration thread?) and we can help with any issues you run across - like bondo problems.

+1.  I am almost finished restoring one and I tried reading as many threads/blogs as possible and I STILL wish there were more...

I might do that, I started the restoration thread before I found out the donkey kong was so common.  I even saw a few. "Not another donkey kong restoration" comments in some other threads...  But I will take some pics as I go along and try to get them posted..  I don't have a lot of time at the moment, so it will be a slow process.
