Mini-Racer Wheels

I haven't installed a spinner, but, based on what I've seen, it looks really simple.  Take out the old spinner (should just be a set screw on the knob and a jam nut on top/bottom of the cp) and the encoder board (a couple screws on the bottom of the cp).  To install the new one, you just need to do the same in reverse.  Even if you do it at a glacial pace, you should be done in under 30 minutes.

You will probably need an allen wrench (don't know what size), a screw driver (probably Philips, and a pair of pliers or a large socket (don't knwo what size).  If you have a basic PC repair kit, you probably have the tools you need.

I guess I will try it then need some kind of wheel for the racing type games, at least some of them... Gonna order one this weekend then...

It figures, I had ordered the racing wheel attachment from them as well, but all they could tell me was "it was on backorder". Well if I have a tornado and the wheel doesn't work on it, they had no intention of sending me a wheel I bet.

bkenobi:

Send them the spinner back and ask for a refund.  If they can't deliver on an item in the order, then you shouldn't have to pay the penalty for it.  Based on the cost of the machine, you should be getting back ~$250 plus the value of the tech suckport.   :laugh2:

Are there ANY racing or steering wheels DESIGNED for the tornado? I don't ask for using it that way, I am going to purchase the TT2 and mini from GGG. I ask because I am slowly collecting bits of information to give to my lawyer for a possible lawsuit.

Invincer:

Getting ready to make the purchase now on GroovyGameGear for the TT2 and mini racer wheel. I see on their site another spinner called a TurboTwist High-Low™ Push-Pull Arcade Spinner Control  which also has an option for the 5"mini racer wheel. It would add the buttons of clicking in and out on it; which I like the idea of. Anyone with any idea how these operate? I don't see the reviews for it like I do the TT2. How much more easy/difficult would it be to install this than the TT2 regular? Any input appreciated... thanks!!!
