Mini-Racer Wheels

Invincer:

If I wanted to try the Mini-Racer wheels where are the places I could purchase them from? I looked at Groovy Gamer and to get the wheel I also have to order the spinner, which I already have. I emailed them to ask about ordering the wheel by itself days ago, but no response. Are there any other places to purchase from?

spOOf:

I don't know this for sure, but I recall a thread here where someone else had the spinner already and asked about buying the wheel from GGG and he was told that yes, he could do that.  If you do a search you may be able to find it (I found it several weeks ago when I was doing a search for reviews of the TT2).

Otherwise, you may be able to find them "used" in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum.

Ginsu Victim:

RandyT WILL sell you the wheel since you own the spinner. Just wait to hear back from him.

After 3 messages, they FINALLY responded to me at GroovyGameGear. No, Randy says they will NOT sell me a mini-racer wheel unless I also purchase a TT2 spinner (even though I explained I already have one). Well isn't THAT just great. :/

Anybody have a used Mini-Racer Wheel they want to sell???

RandyT:

Actually, in that email (the only one I saw at that time) you said you already had "a spinner" and you were not in our database.  I looked through the spam box (not sure why it ended up there) and found an earlier one where you stated you had purchased from DA, who is now selling SlikStik spinners, which will not work well at all with a steering wheel due to the very low resolution.

So if you have a genuine TT2, I will be happy to offer you one of the wheels.  We usually like to go through the OEM for these types of situations, but I'll make an exception here.

Also, we decided a while back to no longer offer them separately because there is too great a possibility for them to get an undeserved "bad rap" when used with spinners they are not designed to be used with.
