I'd love if someone would direct me to  some instructions on building my own spinner.

From my searches I've looked for I see a bunch of older guides, just wondering which one is most recommended.

And no I don't want to buy a spinner right now...thanks!

i'll try to find a link tomorrow to the guide i used, but i made one using parts from an old pc hard drive.  it worked pretty well, but i found that i rarely ever used it, so i didnt bother putting it back in my new panel

Thenasty:

Try the "Nasty Spinner" hack

If you mean the Arcade Stupidity link, unless it has moved somewhere else, that link doesn't work anymore.

meh, this reminds me I was going to write up a tutorial on how to make a nice spinner from the old Maxtor "slim" hard drive, a microsoft mouse, some super glue, and a project box.

sorry.. I'll see what I can muster up. Its quite easy and doesnt involve much more than clever mounting to the CP.
