ArcadeVGA2/Linux/Windows questions
« on: July 30, 2009, 12:00:43 am »
I'm anal enough about video resolutions/refresh rates that it kind of drives me nuts when it isn't right.  I'm contemplating going with an ArcadeVGA2 soonish to get me up and running quickly at the original resolutions in Mame (but not necessary the original refresh rates).  It'll probably take me a while to get Linux working properly on a modern machine at the correct resolutions/refresh rates with a version of Mame that is more recent than the last build of AdvMame.

Does ArcadeVGA2 have good Linunx svgalib or framebuffer drivers so that it'll work in both situations?

The ArcadeVGA is specifically positioned as a Windows/DOS product so we dont support Linux unfortunately.
