| Need help mounting a monitor in my first cabinet |
| (1/1) |
| Nick Rocco:
I am planning to build a cocktail cabinet with some plans that I found from Kyle Lindstrom on arcadecontrols.com. I am not sure how to mount my monitor and give it that nice finished look. I have a 21" crt computer monitor that I think I need a mounting bracket for. What king of bracket do I need and how can I get one? Also, on most cocktails that I have seen it looks like there is some kind of frame under the glass to give it a nice finished look. When I see a monitor mounted in a bracket (not in a cabinet) it has no frame. Where can I get the frame and how do I know it will fit my monitor. Thanks in advance for any help! NR |

Those frames you see are usually on actual arcade monitors. Are you going to decade the computer monitor? If I were you I'd just support it from underneath. Build a box for the computer components and then put the back of the monitor on top of the box and line everything up. The frame you are referring to is a bezel. They can be bought in all different shapes and sizes.
