I have it set to ping me when something "ARCADE" comes up on ebay within 250 miles. Well... it came up. I waited... i lurked... I sniped.

As for where it will go? I just bought a canopy for the side of the house to put the buggy in...and I'll likely rent a storage for a few months.

Yes....I will be selling games soon too.

Jeez, man, talk about getting an arcade in a box! I'd dang near drive to ID (1000 miles) for that deal. My wife would disown me though. Although, they WOULD fit in my downstairs wood shop -- of course I'd have to evict all the tools.

Under advanced search you can set up a search for a certain distance from your zipcode... you then save that search and daily you'll get emails telling you of anything.

I am stoked. I was afraid the seller, with only 14 feedback, was going to pull a ---meecrob--- on me. He'd listed the lot for $3800 or something on the local CL about a month ago. I offered on a couple games but he was adamant about selling the lot. His BIN was $3,650 I think. He was HOPING for a lot of dough. He could have told me to pound sand at $866 and with only 14 feedback, what's he gunna lose? Sure, I could have sued...yah right.

But I was STOKED when he returned a message I sent asking what form of payment he wanted and how to set up pickup. I even got his phone number now.

I'm pretty darned sure it's a done deal... I'm calling Uhaul tomorrow to rent a truck. I figure a 16' should be big enough...

Make sure you get one with a power lift gate. It will make life MUCH easier.

Hopefully this guy doesn't flake out on you.

Tell you the truth, I'd pay him $900 just to make him feel better.

Actually... PapaFriz was banned... I didn't really hide the fact it was me...

But I came to the conclusion that I was disrespecting McLemore (ADMIN) by pulling that crap, regardless of whether or not I was in the wrong to begin with. The ban is only 24 hours... so to hell with it. I PMed ADMIN and apologized for skirting his ban and asked for the PapaFriz account to be deleted.

Am I lurking there? Sure... but I ain't posting or logging in. It's stupid ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- for sure, but it's the decision handed down by the one in charge and it is what it is.

I'd likely sell it to you in "as-is" non-working condition pretty cheap. As a matter of fact, once I inventory things and put prices up, someone's welcome to make an offer on a couple of cabs and those two cabs can be shipped by NAVL for about 10% than what 1 cab would ship for...

...it makes shipping costs much more stomachable. If I remember correctly it was $365 for 2 cabs shipped to New Jersey from here for example.

I just talked to the seller. It seems the games are at a property he's working on and that his "employee" will be there available from 8am to 10pm anytime. So it looks like I WILL be able to fully document this buy...

Probably closer to 2 than 3. This was purely a financial decision... I plan on making some dough to buy a nice pin.
