Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen
ChadTower:
...if it's anything like the first movie, they stand around doing nothing because transforming is impossible. They morph into a randomly flailing ball of sharp metal parts that looks curiously like a starship explosion and then wham they're a car or a ship or a robot. It looked stupid, especially when they didn't even bother to show the whole robot, just swapping camera angle every 1.3 seconds so that you never actually see the whole transfomer. It's Godzilla quality on a bigger budget.

The 22yo kid that works here came in yesterday and told me this was easily the best movie of the summer and asked if I had seen it. I replied I had not and had no intention unless it shows Megan Fox's cans. I then qualified my replied by stating I was never really into the transformers, they came along after I stopped caring about cartoons. He then told me the first Transformers movie was the best movie of all time.
So, in the second statement, he lost all street cred and I simply could not trust his assessment of the new movie. I don't know what the best movie of all time is, but I can think of at least 200 better movies than Transformers.

Not to mention a Camaro turning into a 3 story robot.

I enjoyed the hell out of the first one, despite all the silliness. I plan to enjoy the hell out of this one this weekend, despite all the bad press I am seeing.

Yeah, meant to mention that, there's that little issue of the laws of conservation of matter involved with taking an object the size of a car and turning it into something the size of a building by rotating a few parts. Cybertron may be far away but physics are physics. :)
Even putting all that aside, though, and it is just a scifi movie... Shia Lewhatever was unwatchable, playing that same babbling moron he plays in every movie.
So, I'll watch this, but not until I can do it at home.
