Level42:
Congrats and man.......november 19 is a great date.

It's my birthday

And to make it even better: your boy would be born on the day I turn...........42 !

 :laugh2: :laugh2:

By the way, is it common to release the name to the public before it's even born ?

Ya know, when my wife was pregnant we didn't want to know the gender before it got born (that's a personal choice over here, many people do, many don't). The ultrasone operator wrote it on a note and put it in a sealed envelope to open up after the birth and of course she got it right. I think even I saw what it was (yes, we know our joysticks), but hey, might also have been wishful thinking.

However, most people only "release" the name after the birth over here. It usually is kept very secret between the dad and mum. Just interested in cultural differences....

Technically, you're being redundant. And reviving things. <Suffocation: SYNTHETICALLY RE-VIOOOVVED> Tsk tsk.

Interesting.  My wife and I didn't find out the sex for our children but were open about the names that we had chosen.  That's pretty common for my family/friends/coworkers etc.

I do have one oddball brother in law who not only wont tell the names, but wouldn't tell the SEX to his mother after the baby was born because he hadn't told his five year old son yet.  WTF?  Why not wait to call mom until it's safe to tell everyone and it's not like grandma was going to call him and talk about it.   ::)

Interesting cultural differences though.   :)

Congrats walls83!  As the father of twins, make sure you do what CT said.  Learn the difference between babies and baby's.  Big difference!   ;D
