That was my going to be my plan as well. just build one long control panel, two SF TE would kill the budget for me, as I already have a extra 26" flat panel and a pc. Well I better stop drooling at this cab and finish the one i started ;D mj147 |

The print on the flyer is a bit small. Is that a 32" screen? For some reason - probably the name - I always assumed that the candy cabs were much smaller, like a quasi-bartop. But that's a nice sized cab. And the Vewlix cab is gorgeous. I can see why people like to build these. |
| Gatsu:
candy cabs are smaller in the sense that they are mostly sit-down cabs. you don't stand and play. But a lot of them also have larger monitors. The vewlix has a 32" I believe. Others have 29" or 27". |
| Malenko:
Candy cab has become a generic term for japanese sit down style games. This is the Namco CyberLead I just bought from srabelpawz Has 29" monitor (27" viewable) however it cant rotate the display like other candy cabs. Despite the fact it has a larger monitor, it weighs 1/2 as much as the Midways cabs I own |
| Benevolance:
Those Namco cabs look a lot more like the cabs I saw in the arcades in Japan. That Viewlix that Ummon posted doesn't rotate, does it? I cannot see how it would do that in the current configuration. |
