The second flyer image in the OP's post has the monitor shown in both Vertical and Horizontal configurations on the left side of the image.
It's a lot of work to rotate, but it does.
Benevolance:
So it's not the press-this-button-and-BAM! sort of rotating monitor that's all the rage in the Project Announcement section. :D
That's very cool, however. And on a 4:3 ratio 32" screen, I'm not sure I'd be that upset with my vertical scrolling shooter being clipped on the sides. That's still a nice viewable space.

If I'm remembering correctly, depending on the model (Vewlix, Vewlix L, etc) they are either 1080p or 720p, so widescreen 16:9/16:10.
The one in the flyer posted is 720p (1280 x 768, 1360 x 768).

That would be cool :) It may be possible with something like the Egret II as it has a rotating mechanism. You could have some kind of linear actuator to lift the front open to allow the monitor to rotate and then automatically rotate the monitor before lowering the front again. You would just have to be cafefull not be be knocked out by the front opening
The Vewlix's are expensive but at least you could use it as a TV too :)
I'm picking up these two Naomi SD's this week, can't wait! ;D
