i have no problem with their controllers, but their cabinet deals are just a rip off

If you cannot find a empty cab or build one.  Mameroom.com  is a good place to look.

People will pay high prices for convienance and that includes having the work done for them.  I saw a commercial for a company selling microwavable bags of preboiled potatos, so you nuke'em, then put'em in a bowl, then mash them.  At a much higher cost than a simple 10lb bag of tatters that you'd peel and cook yourself.

Remember, 'Everything is worth what it's purchaser will pay for it.'  Just don't forget 'A penny saved is a penny earned' at the same time. :)
