Have you Played the game? Its pretty interesting. A sort of Pre-Lemming's game.. except there is only one lemming... and they do not always give you all the pieces you would need to 'easily' create the bridge. That and the little man starts to get pretty hasty after a few rounds. Rare games do not necessarily mean Great games. If they were great.. it would more than likely have led to huge sales of the game. Its much more rare to see a "Sleeper" arcade game, than to see a console sleeper. Bouncer would be great.. But, there is probably only 1 working board out there.. and to acquire it would probably take every BYOAC member a +$7000 donation. And even If we get it... there is no telling how good it really is. Its probably not even worth the money it would take to get it. But then again... thats the nature of Rare games. We (some of us) value these rare games, partly because we have not experienced them yet... and partly because its a great cause. To preserve history. Our favorite kind of history: Electronic games. MM2 isnt Mame dumped (AFAIK), and from looking at the videos of the gameplay... its horrible. The original looks better graphically (better contrast shading - so looks more 3d) and has better overall gameplay. SteelWorker is far better a score than something like a crappy street fighter clone done poor as hell. Because you are so underwhelmed by the ultra rare title that was dumped... (which most Japanese collectors were keeping away from Mame intentionally, making it an extremely difficult to acquire game...) Im wondering when you are going to organize and buy rare games for us all... And do it better than the people already in charge? Did you even contribute to the dumping for any mame roms? Let alone helped the mame team in any way, shape ,or form? |

I've never heard of it before, but it looks like an interesting game. I always liked Lemmings (played that ALOT on the Amiga), so a game with a similar concept would be fun. Although I'm still hoping some day that Crazy Junior (Falcon's version of Donkey Kong Junior) gets dumped. Only ever saw that one once back in the early 80's at a truck stop. |

Do you remember if it was a close port or if it was sort of a "beta" port as CK appears to be? |

Applicable to any forum or email thread someone spazzes out in. Bravo. |
