| Haterot:
javeryh, your example gave me some good ideas, it hink what I am going to try is this. 1. Cut out a circle with a 12" radius 2. Cut to fit the entire space a piece of foam board 3. then cut a circle in the center with a radius of about 11-11.5" This will make the outter bezel's opening a little smaller than the monitor bezels circle. 4. then cut out the rectangle in the inner circle to expose the monitor. |

I thought about the circle and I think it comes down to personal preference - if in fact you can see the outline of the circle on the inside underneath the gray tinted glass (which is actually doubtful based on another cab I built), I think I might like the appearance of two "black bars" on the top and bottom of the monitor instead of the circle showing on all 4 sides. I don't know. I guess I'll find out! I'm really interested in your write-up of the rotation aspect - the more information out there the better. It looks very complicated in general but since there are a bunch of people who have figured it out I have some hope! Your cab is looking great by the way. |
