Help with X-Men Vectorization
« on: June 14, 2009, 10:04:09 pm »
Hi all,

I'm looking for some help with a 6-player X-men restoration project I am working on.  I must admit, I'm still learning Adobe's Illustrator, so I'm looking for someone who can help me at a much more expert level.  Colossus is proving difficult since he's rather detailed.  A few of the other characters are already done.

Here's the thread:

Any help would be fantastic!

Thanks in advance!

lemme go digging through my old comic stacks. I think I have the issues that some of that artwork came from.

If so, I'll scan it at work and email it to you so you'll have a good base to start with.

I looked through all my classic x-men up to the "Jim Lee" X-men...and didnt find any. Came close on a few, but not close enough.

sorry man.

I believe the game was loosely based on this one episode of the cartoon animated series called Mojovision (season 2 episode 11), when Dazzler guest starred.

I downloaded all the old X-men Cartoons and have been watching them recently. They are great! (In their own way)  ;•)

Ironically, my wife was also was a fan of the X-men cartoon.  To this day she dislikes all superhero movies, except for X-men.  Go figure.

That's probably why she's tolerated the huge monstrosity of a cabinet known as X-men that I am working on.   ;D

I did some more research.  It turns out the EXACT episode this game was based on was:

"Pryde of The X-Men".  It was supposed to serve as a pilot, but it was never picked up so it's just a one-shot

You can see it on Youtube here:
