Threatening users == ban

Hey Snaakkee!
I'm not gonna turn my back on Howard! He was the guilty one of this mess!
I want my old nick back as a right i have!
If the guy insulted me i am in my right to threat him!
Saint's an Hipocrate and i bet he's on Howards site...
Well, i hope that people here realize that there are invisible
"hierarchys" and some people can be turned down by it!
I demand freedom of speech and equal rights to everyone!

Why don't you add a 0 or 1 to the end of it or something? I suppose it is the principle of the thing...
I have had my problems w/ some people before, but sometimes they will do something awesome and surprise you...
Nothing will be accomplished by this though... Maybe it was the humiliation of this thread that angered you as well. I can really see why you're angry, but I don't think that this will get you anywhere. Why don't you just move on?
PS: Snaaake has had his probs w/ mods too. MANY times... he just backs down and things get resolved... if you aren't willing to do this on some matter of principle than don't...
If you just back down b/c mods need to be like this (I think) and go ahead and use the site for it's intended use, I will hold NO grudge against you. I respect your rights, but where do your rights end and mine begin? You are no longer within your rights if by using these rights you are infringing upon those of another.
Can we get back to arcade controls now? That would be so very nice...
NOTE: I never saw the thread I don't know exactly what you said. Read this post accordingly.
PS: Saint is part of his name (I do believe)... i don't think he thinks of himself as a saint... nor do I think of him as an unfair dictator, but there is NO question as to whether mods are dictators, but sometimes those just work best (Example: ROME! [this is a forum is it not? ;D])

There is a difference between insulting someone and threatening someone. "you're mean, you're an ass" is totally different from "I'm going to blah blah blah to you"
Since Saint's a moderator here, how has he been unfair. If someone insults you, defend yourself. I would. Comeback with an even better one w/out a threat. If you are right then it'll be clear to everyone else and then the other guy looks bad in the end, instead of you.

but i wanna know, Whiskeroids or Hellnation, does nuff said not translate into portugeuse? also, the forum rules state what not to do. you violate, your banned. it's as much an injustice as being pulled over for driving 150 mph (or the corresponding # in k/h). realize you made a mistake, grow up, and act civilly. for the sake of those that stopped whining in the 3rd grade.

Sadly, you are being treating equally; some people (not mentioning names) insult everyone. :-\
I find the insults (by anyone) annoying, yes, but not enough to fight over. All the macho, in-your-face insult arguments should stay back on the third grade playground, not here in the real world.
Suggestions for everyone for all forums and real life:
Don't take insults personally; ignore them, and thus be better than the the person insulting you by acting more mature. By being mature, you show how childish the other person is being, turning his insult against him. Threatening someone is even more childish than insulting someone.
Don't threaten anyone because if you do, don't be surprised of being shut out, fired (example: if you threaten a co-worker or customer), or arrested (example: if you threaten a policeman or airport).
Whiskeroids or Hellnation, the only way I could see you getting back your alias was by apologizing about the threat, and promising not to threaten anyone else (the same as all of us, BTW). Your arguments here have greatly decreased your chances, IMO, but I am not a moderator.
Finally, do I think I am "holier than thou"? No way. I make mistakes, take insults personally, and post things I shouldn't have.
