Feels more to me like calling it badly done outlandish and ridiculous. That was my problem with it. Not that it was over the top but that it didn't do any of it well. Not everyone can be Mel Brooks. ;D

I thought Kill Bill was great...except for the parts with Carradine in it. It would have been awesome to have never actually seen Bill.
Ginsu Victim:
I love Kill Bill. It combines all of my favorite genres (spaghetti western, kung fu, samurai, blaxploitation, horror, and anime) and it's directed by QT with an awesome cast and one of my favorite soundtracks of all time. For me, it's an all-around WIN.

That's why I can't stand it. I have never seen a Tarantino film that didn't annoy the piss out of me - and most of the people in those movies annoy the piss out of me too.
Ginsu Victim:
Haven't seen a Tarantino film I didn't LOVE. Other than some of the Death Proof cast (first set of girls), I don't see a problem with any of his casting. (Well, there was that cameo by Kathy Griffin in Pulp Fiction...)
Edit: And, yes, I know you don't like Brad Pitt, so obviously you won't like the next film, either...
