Are you planning on doing a recreation or an original creation?

I would love a kit if there is such a thing.  I want to build a video pinball machine out of an empty cabinet.  I haven't had any luck finding a used one yet.  I'm not willing to destroy a working game, but if I could find something that isn't worth repairing with decent wood around it, I would take it in a second.  Of course if there was a way to just buy a brand new blank cabinet, that would be perfect.

It sounds good and all, but you do realize that the cabinet and stuff would be the easiest part, right? Figuring out the software to handle scoring and such is where you're really going to spend a disgusting amount of time.

I would suggest just designing a Future Pinball table and see how that suits you.
