severdhed:

yeah, i read that wrong...

what do you have plugged into the main outlet that you are turning on to trigger the rest of it?

Ummon:

PC is main, cabinet is accessory. I thought of that - maybe I should switch them? I just didn't want to expose the computer to that clipping if I could help it.

severdhed:

i'm not following i guess.  when you say the cabinet is on an accessory port..i'm assuming that is monitor, speakers and lights?

does the PC stay running properly during this? what happens if you plug a lamp or something else in, does it flicker?

what happens if you use a lamp/something else in the master port, instead of the PC?

That would be my next step also...... plug a drill or something outlet you know pulls more current than the PC into the "Power Tool" outlet and see if it still acts up.
(leave the cabinet/monitor connected as is)

Ummon:

Oh. You mean, like, TROUBLESHOOT IT. Heheheheeh, I'll get right on that.
