Thanks Kaytrim, I was really nervous about it at first, I am glad so far everyone thinks its okay.

I havent gotten much done, ball games everyday. Got a few minutes in this morning and did a little bit of wiring, still have to clean it up, but its coming together.

k, got the monitor in, and all the components. Plugged it all in for a quick test, this is just playing on media player for the test, but it was amazingly loud and clear with the car speakers and logitech amp, I was very pleased with the sound! Here are a few pics, sorry, not the best, but will post better pics after I clean up the wiring and have it closer to finished.

Thanks for the info on the paint. I was thinking about trying some automotive paint for a jukebox I am currently working on to see if I like it, but I am unsure as to how well it will work on MDF, however after seeing the results you had with it, I think I'll give it a go. How durable of a finish is it on MDF? Did you have to prime or seal the wood or do anything special to get the paint to adhere correctly?
