Hey BigDaddyE- any update? Did you get it working? |
| Rickn:
This is very out of character for me but I am disappointed with some of the opening comments, in no way would I ever treat a customer or anyone on this or any forum as a "dumb..." I have never met Andy, but I am sure he would not either. There has been countless e-mails on this to me and probably same to Andy... I have now got Eric to make sure to reply all until we get this fixed. Yep sent a new breakout cable a week ago, sent another new breakout cable, VGA Cable and new monitor chassis today. No charges so far, I will be more than happy if we find out that threw all the efforts to help BigdaddyE, the board has been damaged. We go a long way to help our customers. In a nutshell, please be considerate before posting, I am pretty sure no other manufacturer would answer e-mails all weekend. Sorry guys, I guess now I am just venting, thanks for all your support. We don't see anyone from WG, Happ or Betson in here, so I don't think anyone doubts your dedication! |

--- Quote from: swamprat96 on May 21, 2009, 07:34:16 pm ---The DVI port will NOT support the arcade monitor- don't do it. Us dthe LCD monitor to install the arcdeVGA drivers. You'll have no problem doing this and the LCD should still work --- End quote --- Many people have referred to driver issues here, but this is not the area to look. The ArcadeVGA card should give a picture on the arcade monitor right from power-up and it is not, so drivers are not in the equation yet. As Rick has said, we are both doing our best to help here and emails are running into 20-30 but this is not a concern, we just want to see it working. This is an example of a problem where it is difficult to pinpoint which component is at fault. Loss of sync could be the VGA card, cable or monitor and sometimes swap-out is the only way. The fact the ArcadeVGA card gives "out of range" when a PC monitor is connected to the VGA port indicates its likely to be working but we dont yet know for sure. Andy |

Could it just be a bad monitor? Do arcade monitors have test modes they can get into without anything attached? |
