Yeah Uhura was wearing a rather short skirt (and even less at some point).

This whole movie seemed to me like a setup for a whole new series of movies in the franchise. I hope it does well and that new episodes come out. So far it's getting really good critiques.

I found this "review" of the movie:

FWIW, it opened today in the states as well.  The official website says it opens Thursday and it is playing today at my local theaters.  I'm seeing it tomorrow, though.  Mother in law came in town today, so we have a babysitter, but tickets for todays showings were all sold out.

BTW, Private Parts was a good movie.

Yes, but it's not the best movie that anyone has ever seen.  Since he keeps saying it is... and he says that about this... he's a dumbass.

shmokes:
Ah ha.  I've never listened to his radio show.  Never been in a market that carried it and never had Sirius.

RTSDaddy2:
Rotten Tomatoes reviewers are gushing over it.  That was the final piece in a "Do I see it or not? " puzzle (I am a Trek fan, but not insanely die hard) was what the reviewers thought.

Screw the 45 million projection - if it's as good as I've heard, it may be the first film to give "The Dark Knight" a run for it's money.
