Jamma Board Repair
« on: May 18, 2009, 05:36:42 pm »
Hello,

Can anyone recommend someone that can service Jamma Boards? I have a Mortal Kombat 4 that has no picture, but you can hear that the gameplay works. I also have an X-Men CPS2 that recently just started not working as well, no picture, assuming  it needs phoenixed. I have already checked out Jammboards.com for the CPS 2 Phoenix job, But I'm not sure that's what is wrong with it.

Thanks,

-JC

I just bought a reconditioned board form ArcadeComponents (BYOAC user channelmaniac) and his work on the board was great.
Working: Not Enough
Projects: Too Many
Progress: None

My first thought is it might cost just as much to replace them. Repair work can get expensive  :( I'd be interested on hearing the quotes for the work though.

Well I got the X-Men working with some serious cleaning, the MK 4 still has a weird picture. I tried it in several of my monitors and all the same results. I will put up pics soon to see if anyone might notice something familiar.

Thanks for the link - I'll check it out, if it's not worth it I will have a MK4 Board/ Marquee for trade!

Thanks,

-JC
