www.cppinball.com

It's a bit north of STL but it's by far the most complete arcade around here and it's only $10.

BTW - not certain but I think shlafly doesn't get much farther than Columbia.  Not sure why no oatmeal stout.  Prob just not stocking it at that store.

Thanks!

I see a few pins there I would like to try.  I've never seen Medieval Madness or Corvette in person.  Just need to see if it fits into the travel schedule.

yeah, unfortunately it is only open 2 weekends a month. It is mostly pinballs, around 50-60. But he has a few assorted MAME machines as well. If you're a drinker, you can bring your own hooch too. Cool place indeed.

I contacted Chuck about possibly buying a machine or two from him, and he mentioned that he is going to get a Magic Girl.

http://pinballinventor.org/signup.html

Only 13 made, $16,000 from John Popadiuk.

Are any of you guys going to Chucks anytime soon?  If so, I may have you check out a couple games for me.

I have said pretty much all I know.  Search Magic Girl on RGP, there are some posts there.

No, I am not buying one.  Chuck said he was getting one.

John did ToM, CV (two beautiful machines!), WCS and some others.  All good games.

I dont remember seeing MM there during my last few visits (then again I dont always remember the whole night) which is weird because for a while he had 2 side by side just to prove a point about how badly my life sucks.

No way Chuck will put that Magic Girl out in "general population" for all the common inmates to play, if he does I bet its just once or twice here & there or maybe just during tourney's I bet.

Dudes he had 3 complete Funhouse restorations going on in the side garage last month...EPIC HEP style all clearcoated repro PF, new plastics, decals, parts dismantled, polished, painted & rebuilt to new. My balls hurt just looking at those beauts!

Pretty sure the dude is rebuilding his home man cave to epic levels & put the MM, restored IJ & prob the Tron, FH I bet the preorders for Magic Girl & that Oz end up there too.

Ok, thats it bitches, Aug 13th who wants to do shots & play TSPP?

The boy is in a baseball tournament that weekend...not sure of the schedule yet (thank God that is the end of the season). Would love to hit CP's, but probably not gonna be able to...unless RAIN! Yes, Rain...that would do nicely!  :badmood:

Yea I have a work function that evening and a wedding to go to the following weekend in August.  Plus, on September 10th I have a winery cabin booked up.  My next available time to hit CP's would be 9/17.  I think I might plan on that night.  Its been awhile for me.

That's Italianfest weekend...not that that is a must attend anymore. I am at the mercy of the boy's football schedule after Labor Day.

Italianfest has lost its luster with me over the years as its too much a pain in the ass to chase kids around.  I imagine I'll be rekindling my love affair after Makenna gets another couple years older.

I'm never having kids...

I said that at one point in my life....remarkably that last time was probably only 4-6 months prior to impregnating my wife.

But seriously though if you truly are of that mindset just do the right thing for both you and your wife....get snipped.  Having children unintentionally would spoil the party for sure.  Plus...you can save money from your wife not paying for birth control and/or you dont have to wear jimmys....I hate those damn things.

Your F'd.  If she wants kids she'll find a way.

Look at it this way, now you'll have lots of time to hone your pinball/arcade skills as you'll be spending most of your weekends at home rather than going out....you do have a kickass game room.

I wish my basement was finished....

Aw ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- thats right, you moved!

Damn so you dont have a game room anymore?

You left behind that bar, TV area, the bar, pinball wall, the bar, tapper, that bar, arcade enclave & the ball pit?

You want to donate your DE SW to my man cave?

Yea the basement is unfinished.  Right now it looks like an indoor playground  :lol  It is "carpeted" from a bunch of excess carpet we got from our builder.  I have everything pretty much setup the way it was before just no finished areas and no bar.

However, finishing it is not a question of "if" but of "when".  The new house is bigger overall and that means there is more space to work with and its laid out much better than my old house.  There will be a home theater sized screen (although not a dedicated home theater room), and bar 2.0 will be better than version 1.0   I'm also tinkering with the thought of building a dedicated room for the coin-op stuff.  I was thinking blacklight carpet as well.  However, I kinda like all that stuff sitting out in the open so not sure how thats going to work out......Anyway something for me to look forward to.  I'll post you some pics in a couple years.

Pics in a few years, good one  But dont seperate the toys from lounge space Nooooooo!

Heck I'd just paint/seal the walls, paint the rafters black, lay down some UV carpet & fill it up with toys instead of spending money on finished sq ft.

If I could do it all over again thats what I'd do. Drywall & carpet are overrated to me when compared to blacklight carpets, projectors, TV's, pinballs, arcade machines & etc.

So there, get started on it

I played the LE Tron tonight in depth, placed #4 on the HS board @ 65M or something like that (initials put in as WTF).

There is no need for viagra now, all the chrome & neon in that thing does the trick.

You guys have to go there & get in on that thing
