Dude now that I think about it you are talking about the dude who writes for gameroom magazine right?....he had STTNG for sale not too long ago & his mini pin was on the cover of gameroom magazine.
I could be wrong
Flake:
Pretty sure its that same guy PBW. How much was he asking for his STNNG. If I ever spend more than $2K+ on a machine it will probably be that one.
I think LL should pave the way on a Future Pinball cabinet. And dont forget to document the process thoroughly on this forum!

Same dude. I didn't get a chance to play it, my son did. I did look it over and it is bad-ass. I'm trying to get some pointers without being to much of a pain in the ass. I will post a thread in project anouncements once I begin. I may have to start this project covertly so the wife doesn't realize I'm pissing away money until it's too late to turn back.
That being said, I am in the market for a dual core pc...if anybody is looking to unload one.
Did not see the STTNG, I think it is gone. Rob siad he was unloading just what he needed to buy a pickup. He had a G'n'R I really wanted to play, but he said it's on the fritz. He had a Star Wars DE in his shop that was nearly finished. My son decided he wanted the IJ, wife warmed up to TZ, and I was blown away by CV.

--- Quote from: LLUncoolJ on August 07, 2009, 10:09:18 am ---I am thinking about trying to get my hands on a decent classic cabinet and putting in a 48/60 in one board with just a 4 way stick and 1 button. Can you disable games on those things? I am wanting to leave the classic 4 way games only on the menu. Then, remove my Ultimarcs from my mame and replace them with Happ Competions and remove the 4 ways from the menu. The Ultimarc 4/8 switchable is not a bad stick, but nobody but me can figure out how/when to switch it. Plus, The short throw gives me fits playing some games...specifically Robotron. I wish there was a nice way to make mame play nice with a 49 way. I've got 3 of them just laying around.

Why not just switch out your sticks to a couple 8-way happs and add a dedicated 4-way. You have the room and it would be much less expensive than adding a whole other cabinet. Those 48/60-1's are not cheap. Plus you'll need a monitor, blah, blah.

Not sure where I would put it. Mine isn't laid out the same as yours. Not to mention that the cp would have to be completely disassembled, drilled out and reassembled. Not impossible, but time consuming. And that is assuming that I don't screw anything up. If I had to buy new lexan and a new overlay, hell, your approaching the cost of a cabinet.
Then again, that is the cheap solution...and I'm all about cheap.
