What the heck am i gonna do with this thing?

I picked up a thunder blade sit down cab the other day because it was on craigslist for a good price, but i have no clue what i am gonna do with it.  It does work but after i die it freezes.  I was thinking that if all else fails i could use the seat for a racing cab with a modded xbox, but if anyone has and ideas please post.

I'd recommend trying to fix it. (the freeze up issue)
That's a unique game/cabinet/simulator/whatever.

I dont know how good a candidate that is for racing, given that the "throttle" stick there is linked into making the whole seat tilt....

Yeah i would take out the stick if i did that and just use it for the seat.  I have not messed with it much yet, also the monitor is blurry at the top and i havent treid to see if that is something that can be fixed.  The frezzing issue is weird it sais "continue play?" and the music keeps going but it wont play.  I enter more credits press every button,  I was even wondering if i was missing a button.  Taking of the seat is kinda a last resort.

Sounds like you need the manual!

Probably bad memory or one of the roms is hosed.  Either one should be easy to fix.  If you're scared of monkeying around with the roms then you can always get another board.

Yes i do need a manual,  so you can buy the type of memory or the roms still?  or how would one fix these,  do you mean if they have points that have come of and need soldered

Here's the manual for the upright version..... should at least help by using the self test mode and such and see if that'll give you any diagnostic type information.
