| Offset Nintendo T-Molding conundrum |

Hello all, I have some major resto to do on an original DK Jr. Nintendo cab. This is a USA orange model with 5/8" particle board sides. The slot is noticably offset and I'm starting to realize that finding white 5/8 offset-slot molding is not going to happen. What is everyone doing with this little problem? Is trimming 3/4" molding the way to go? And how does one do this, with a razor blade? I do not want any ugly overhang due to the slot. Also, what size slot cutter is used, as I am renovating the bottom quarter of this cabinet with new particle board and will have to match the existing slots. Thanks! |

Works for laminate edges and t molding. Link to trimmer |

By some strange happenstance, one side of my DK cab is offset and the other isn't...but honestly...to me, anyway...the offset is hardly noticeable. man, i've missed you guys. |
