Just gotta vent a bit.
WTF is up with people who think "make offer" on a Buy, Sale and Trade item means less than half asking price and you pay shipping?
I mean c'mon every buyer want the cheapest price and every seller wants to make the most that they can.
I recently got a ridiculously low offer for my Atari sticks that I had priced at $20/ make offer. A price that after shipping/Paypal fees would have netted me about $7-8 ea.
Of course I turned it down.
But damn, some people just need to get a :censored: clue!
And I read a sales thread by the same guy niggling over postage, complaining that he needed to make a buck to pay the bills.
Pot, meet kettle.
Jeez. Anyway, just needed to get that off of my chest, better here than sending it sideways to someone who doesn't deserve it.
Thanks for "listening".

I quoted the most relevant part of your post. If you want $20, say $20. By adding that 'make offer' crap, you are directly stating to the potential buyer that you fully 100% expect a lower price.
I'll say it again: If you want $20, ask for $20. If it doesn't sell, bump your price down until it does. Don't whine about a buyer setting the price when you outright ask them to.
Chadwick:
What Shard said. If you want $20 then say $20 Firm and be done with it.

Pile on guys, I can take it! ;D

The offer feature is for "Best offer" ie: If you can't get asking price, the best low-ball offer you'll accept. Duh!
